| Today is one busy day... Yesterday was worse. Anyways... here's just to update everyone with "stuff". 24/7 had its Summer event at White Rock in Subic... and boy oh boy... have I never seen soooo much booze!
Peng, Helen, Loren and Vren dropped by the casita before checking in (they spent the night in Subic).
Went to Anilao last month and taught Bayleigh how to snorkel for the first time.

| Sorry, been busy with things lately. Things. Hmm... "things"? Well, there was this obsessed weirdo who made up stuff in her head ... but got that straightened out. I didn't do anything, but things just sorta naturally unfolded. Earl's parents and siblings were very supportive. Well, they've always been --- in odd ways sometimes, but they seem to always know what to say to hold me down. Oooh well That's been settled. So I guess it's pretty safe to say that's over and done with Then our dogs. Gawd, we sooo miss Sidney! Bayleigh was even in tears when we were leaving Fairview last weekend. (Aaaw...) Libby's been extra kulit lately. And I know I need to take Cookie out soon! I have acquired a new addiction to Nestea Red Apple Iced Tea... but I know I'll be "better" by November 5. What'll happen on the 5th? Toffee Nut's coming out!!! Waaaa!!! Well anyways, been in limbo for the past days. Sore throat, cough, cold... waiting for the heavens to open up and show me the way to the beach... or maybe just go ahead and take me to beach I so wanna go back to Anilao na! But okay... the Ecopark will do for now. And what have I learned? That fishing is not for me. Being on my ass for more than 30 minutes, not knowing what's up is just... way tiring. Bayleigh and Earl had fun though. I miss RCBC. I miss Tapa King. I miss the lung center. I miss you Shaggs! | | |
| Here's celebrating my brithday last year (the time when Earl gave Cookie as a present). L-R: Earl, Hilds, Ariel (Earl's bro-in-law), April (Earl's sis) and Tonette (Ariel's sis). Nov '06

And come Christmas, Cookie was too big for her cage, I had to let her stay in the yard. Cookie was sooo small when I got her. Little did I know that she can grow this big in a month! I should've listened to Abbyy, Kit and Les when they were making fun last month and imagining how I'd be by December --- not knowing anything about taking care of Dobes. I used to be a cat person you see... till China (my ex-cat) went out during the day and never came back. Dec 27 '06
Having moved to a new company and being in the morning shift, we had more time to take Cookie for a walk. It was a struggle at first, getting used to the leash and making sure she won't eat the cig butts we were walking by... Feb 10 '07

Two months after Cookie's accident, she was sweeter than ever (check out how she's hanging on to dear life on my arm!). She's sooo clingy! She still demands to be cuddled till now! She loves having Earl carry her like a 3-year old human being, and she loves to sit on my lap when I sit in the yard.Apr 10 '07

And Earl's been spoiling her with treats... Yup, he's no disciplinarian, you bet! No wonder the dogs love him! Apr 29 '07
Well, not till he got his own set of rascals to wake him up for his shift... and chew on everything in his room! May 11 '07

So here they are folks... the new members of our family --- Libby and Sidney, also known as Fluff and Bear. Do not be deceived by the Fluffy one... she is sooo secretive, she hides her poop (so I kinda take long before totally cleaning up since I still play Hide N Seek with her 'stuff'). And the little black one with a wawa-puppy face?!? OMG! She chewed on Earl's couch, MY shoes, spread cotton around Earl's carpet, and the best of them all --- chewed on Earl's phone and MP3 player!!! And what did he get?! A 2-week vacation in Fairview for a discipline session with Mama Sal... hahahahaha!
Till my next post! ...I miss you Shags! The logbook's on its way...
| I've recently moved to 24/7's new site along Valero St and it's really something trying to get used to being alone on the 2nd floor during the night shift.
Anyways, Libby is still cute as ever...
And Cookie just keeps on growing.
Bayleigh will be in Alfonso (town after Tagaytay) with her Lolo over the weekend... and I'm expecting a negrita to be home on Sunday --- she'll be swimming all day, I bet!
I have a kiddie birthday party to attend on Saturday (without my own kiddie with me), and a wedding on Sunday (sorry, my diet failed. I tried. I really, really tried... )
That's it for now.
And yes Erf, I can drop by your house and have Libby play with Phoebe. (This is now me imagining two fluffs bouncing around...)

| And so goes my 3-day "vacation" with nothing but TV and my good ole migraine .
I thought it was just the flu. Then came my cold. Then my migraine started getting worse. On the 2nd day that I was absent, I decided to go to the doctor. I was just going to get my med cert so I can get my big ass back to work when the doctor said, "You have mild anemia." Darn . No wonder I've been nauseous. I thought it was all because of the chills and the entire list of symptoms of flu. She prescribed meds that tasted like soil (**blecchhh**). Yes, I have tasted soil. Who wouldn't get better?!? So now I'm back. Twice as energetic and well-rested . I've never watched so much TV... and eaten as much instant noodles too! The best part about being sick is when you're treated like a princess. Not for me. I still had to do my mommy duties --- bought veggies, was Bayleigh's mascot as she made me try on the crowns and other paper-stuff she made. I still had to play with the dog, ordered the maid around on what to cook, changed Bayleigh's shirt in the middle of playtime, made the bed ... yadda, yadda, yadda. I got an email from a very good friend in college . I also was able to take Bayleigh to Medical City for her shots . Oh yeah, her shots... She was bitten by Earl's 2-month old labrador puppy, Sidney.
Bayleigh started to make gigil the way she does with Cookie... and BANG! I just started hearing shrieks, Earl panicking, the chairs tumbling... and then we were at Makati Med's ER. E naman kasi e... Bayleigh makes Cookie papak using her chin and tickles her like there's no tomorrow. Cookie on the other hand, just goes belly-up and lets her do whatever she wants (parang hindi oversized Doberman). Eeek! So we had to exile Sidney to Fairview for 2 weeks since she did something really bad. And we got Libby in return. (Picture to follow). She's a Shih Tzu and a month older than Sidney. She's just made of fluff. Nothing but FLUFF. ...and a button stuck on her fluffy face. But Earl started to get depressed, missing Sidney and her unusual snort when being cuddled. So after a week, she was back. Yep, we now have 3 dogs. And I definitely can see the differences in their personalities. Sidney is ADD and very clingy. Libby is snobbish. Cookie is very protective. Everything is a-ok... as long as I don't cuddle with Libby. Because when that happens, Sidney starts to bark and demand for attention. Libby then starts to get stressed and will squirm her way out of my arms, and Cookie will start getting upset, thinking that I'm under attack. You can just imagine how chaotic it is when Earl, Bayleigh and I take the doggies for a walk... "Ma'm... I think you should start eating raw and freshly picked ampalaya." --- is what I imagine the doctor will say to me soon. But I love our dogs. I love Cookie the most of course. Libby... she's just effortlessly cute. And Sidney? I have to wait till Earl's out-of-town before I get my vengeance
